Daegu Haany University (President Byun Chang-hoon) Medical Industry Convergence HOPE STAR Project Group (Director Park Ja-jun) held a “Daegu-Gyeongbuk Medical Industry Convergence Industry-Academic Research Institute Invitation” to revitalize the medical industry convergence field in the Daegu-Gyeongbuk region at the Inter-Burgo Gyeongsan Country Club Grand Volume on the afternoon of the 24th. An exchange meeting was held.
At the exchange meeting on this day, companies and research institutes in the medical industry convergence field in Daegu and Gyeongbuk include Computer Mate Co., Ltd., BNM Tech Co., Ltd., Renewable Robot Convergence Research Institute, Wisetech Co., Ltd., Flying Mountain Co., Ltd., and Medical Information Source Technology Research Institute. It was held with about 150 people in attendance, including the Korea Medical Device Sales Association, faculty, staff, students, and university officials.

In an invited lecture at the industry-academia-research exchange meeting, Lee Sang-il, director of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk High-Tech Medical Industry Promotion Foundation's Advanced Medical Device Development Support Center, gave a lecture on the current status and development plans of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk High-Tech Medical Complex.
In the panel discussion led by Business Director Park Ja-jun, Daegu Techno Park Biohealth Convergence Center Director Hee-jun Cho, Daegu Metropolitan City Advanced Medical Industry Bureau Advanced Medical Complex Support Department Manager Tae-un Kim, Department of Biomedical Engineering at Yeungnam University Medical Center Jun-ha Lee, Department of Medical Information at Kyungpook National University Medical School Hoon Cho Professors participated and discussed the convergence development of the medical industry in Daegu and Gyeongbuk and plans for nurturing talent.

Park Ja-jun, head of the project, said, “I hope that this exchange meeting will serve as an opportunity to build and utilize human networks for the development of the university, the region, and the industry.”
